The Lepena is a tributary of the Soča and shares the latter’s crystal-clear beauty. Views of the Julian Alps are out of this world and the river is home to the tricky and elusive Marble Trout, its Rainbow cousin and the Adriatic Grayling. Fly fishing enthusiasts should definitely not miss the opportunity to cast their lines in this stunning alpine river, and can do so between April and October.
