Located in south-eastern Slovenia, the Krka is a tributary of the Sava and is characterised by transparently green pools and numerous rapids. Hence its second name, the Slovenian Green river. It also has lots of small dams, which are the perfect hiding spot for all fish species and consequently those will be the places you will definitely visit on your fishing trip. Fish in this river are known to be especially powerful and do not give up easily. The Taimen and Kirjolohi feel at home in the river’s source, joined downstream by the Grayling and Chub.
