Dolphinfish have been swimming in the Adriatic for ages, yet they’re still considered a lesser known and rather unusual fish. Its hips are golden, yellow and green, while its belly comes in silver-white. These colours have a special shine to them, but when the Dolphinfish dies, so do its colours. The Dolphinfish grows up to 1.8 m in length and weighs approx. 40kg and lives from 3 to 5 years. The Adriatic Dolphinfish is slightly smaller than its ocean-dwelling counterparts.
