The Carp population has been swimming in Lake Bled for ages, but in recent years the fish have been growing faster than ever. Throughout the year, a good number of fish can be found in excess of 30 kg. In Addition, Lake Bled has one of the biggest populations of Carp over 20 kg.
Fishing starts one hour before sunrise and lasts until 11 pm. Since the best places are quickly taken, it’s the guide’s job to reserve a fishing spot and hold it until your arrival. The guide also shows you the right techniques, prepares everything you need for fishing, and helps you tidy up after. In case you need additional tips, your guide is always available nearby. Since fish are best caught in the morning and in the evening, it’s crucial that you persist until the very end, as fish have a tendency to bite minutes before 11 pm.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The number of carp fishing licences on Lake Bled is limited to 10 per day. That's why it is very important to make a reservation for your trip as early as possible (in January or February), so we can get a licence for you right after booking.
