It’s mainly found in upper and middle reaches of rivers and streams, Karst waters being home to the largest. This wonderful fish’s colour patterns can vary between dark grey, copper-red, olive green, or yellow-brown, sprinkled with red, white and black spots. The Brown Trout is a beauty that can be found in most popular fishing spots around Slovenia. The fishing season runs from March to November.
