Located in south-eastern Slovenia, the Krka is a tributary of the Sava and is characterised by transparently green pools and numerous rapids. It’s the only Slovenian river where fish belts run throughout its entire length. The brown and Rainbow Trout feel at home in the river’s source, joined downstream by the Nase, Danube Roach and Chub, which likes to escape into the Sava. Wels and Pike can also be found near the town of Novo Mesto. Fishing in the Krka will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.
